Aligning Smiles with Confidence
Patient Overview:
Ms. Poonam Jain, a beautician by profession, meets and interacts with clients every day, making her smile an important part of her confidence. She visited Dr. Gul’s Dental Clinic with concerns about a gap in her upper front teeth and uneven tooth alignment.
After a detailed evaluation by Dr. Gul Zehra, it was also found that she had an infection in her lower front teeth. A comprehensive treatment plan was developed, combining dental implants and orthodontic treatment to address both her functional and aesthetic concerns.
While the dental implants took care of the lower front teeth, they also left a visible gap during the healing period. A challenging aspect of the treatment was addressing this gap, as Ms. Poonam’s profession requires her to interact with clients every day, and a missing tooth would really affect her confidence.
To maintain her smile during treatment, we provided her with a lower clear aligner and gave a temporary tooth to fill the gap in the front region. This allowed her alignment treatment to continue while also preserving the appearance of her smile throughout the healing process.
Once the alignment was completed and the implant site had healed, Dr. Gul fixed the permanent crown on the implant to complete her smile rehabilitation.
